You are in great hands when visiting Five on Black – located around multiple locations in Montana. Owner Tom Snyder and wife Lauren, fell in love with Brazilian food and their cooking style while experimenting in the kitchen. This led to a trip all around Brazil experiencing the culture and food first hand. The cuisine focuses on using simple ingredients to make tasteful, nutritious and incredible dishes. As they explored, they formed a menu that used their knowledge of the culture in a quick grab and go style – traditional Brazilian food with a twist! Five on Black uses organic and local food, and sources sustainably whenever possible. They also serve vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Feel good about supporting and eating their simple, healthy and accessible food!

Townshend’s Bozeman Teahouse

Townshend’s Bozeman Teahouse is the perfect place to kick back and relax over a cup of tea, fresh chai or bubble tea made from scratch. You will be surrounded by a warm atmosphere with great music and a personable staff that hope to make you feel right at home. The team also works hard to make sure they have as little impact on the environment as possible. The Teahouse has initiated sustainability practices including composting, recycling, purchasing renewable wind energy and supporting the non profit, Ecology in Classroom & Outdoors, which brings science enrichment lessons into grade schools around Bozeman.

Upcycled is proudly located in Missoula, Montana, a community supporting the arts and sustainable development. The store promotes upcycling by sharing helpful information, connecting people and hosting educational events. Each product sold in the store uses anywhere from 50%-95% greater repurposed materials – even their business cards, tags and bags are upcycled! The team is also extremely supportive to local artists and crafters. Due to this, almost everything in the store is produced locally! They want to do their part for the local community and encourage upcycling artists to sell their products and grow their brand from their storefront. Upcycled continues to drive change into the world by presenting the question, “What if all our old clothes went into making new ones?”.
